Ryan’s role has evolved since he started with Impellam over 18 years ago in Miami, FL. As the President of Lorien, Ryan leads all client and delivery functions throughout North America as well as focusing on the company’s strategic vision and culture.
With a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and 25 years in the staffing industry, Ryan has been able to leverage that knowledge and experience to build a world-class team who put clients and candidates first.

Claire Marsh is the CEO of the Americas, overseeing the company’s strategy, operations, and delivery across the United States. She leads the organisation’s expansion in key technical talent markets, working with clients to build recruitment solutions that support growth, transformation, and long‑term workforce planning. Her focus includes strengthening Lorien’s presence in the region and ensuring that clients have access to scalable, high‑performance hiring programs.
Claire began her career with Lorien as a graduate in 1998 and advanced through a series of commercial and operational leadership roles before moving into her current post. With more than 18 years of experience in the IT recruitment sector, she has shaped and delivered complex MSP and bespoke workforce solutions for organisations such as Fujitsu, Centrica, GSK, Vodafone, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Her leadership has supported a period of significant growth, expanding Lorien’s capabilities and enabling clients to navigate evolving technology and talent demands.
Josh Thorson
Sales Director
As Sales Director at SRG, Josh Thorson leads client expansion across the West Coast life sciences market, working with organizations from early‑stage biotech to established enterprises. Over more than a decade in the life sciences sector, he has partnered with scientific, engineering, and operational teams to develop staffing programs that support discovery research, translational and clinical development, product development, and emerging AI and machine learning platforms. His experience spans contract staffing, direct hire, and project‑based delivery models that give companies the flexibility to scale talent in line with research and product priorities. Josh brings a detailed understanding of market conditions, talent supply, and the demands of growth‑stage environments, and his collaborative approach has contributed to long‑standing partnerships that help teams advance research, move programs forward, and prepare for commercial activity.
