🔧 Instrumentation Technician - Bothell, WA

We're hiring an Instrumentation Technician to support a major lab migration project in Bothell, WA. This is a long-term opportunity (1-4 years) for someone who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys hands-on technical work with instrumentation and maintenance systems.

📍 Location: On-site, full-time in Bothell, WA
🕒 Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, with ~10 hours of overtime weekly (including weekends and on-call rotation)
📅 Start Date: ASAP (approximately 4 weeks from offer)
💼 Employment Type: Open to W2, 1099, or C2C
🧑‍💻 Interview Process: Virtual interviews with team members

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate instruments across process, utilities, HVAC, and analytical systems (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow, conductivity, TOC).
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform emergency calibrations and repairs.
• Maintain and repair equipment in manufacturing, labs, and utilities.
• Use CMMS to log, track, and verify maintenance activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support equipment enrollment in CMMS and STARLIMS.
• Support process improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, TQM).
• Complete quality and safety documentation in alignment with GMPs, SOPs, and internal policies.
• Provide facility and lab support, including on-call coverage outside normal hours.

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and calibration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of why instruments fail.
• Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems.
• Excellent soft skills: responsive, eager to learn, and adaptable to on-call demands.

➕ Nice-to-Have

• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, food, or beverage.
