Regulatory Ecotoxicologist (Remote)

Salary - £40,000 - £65,000 (Depending on experience level)

SRG is working with a leading regulatory consultancy within the chemicals industry. Recently a new vacancy has opened for an ecotoxicologist to join an expert regulatory team. The company is open to looking at employing people with varying levels of expertise so applications are encouraged for anyone who has a baseline understanding of ecotoxicology risk assessments or with significantly more experience. Remote working can be expected for experienced candidates. Hybrid or office working is also an option on multiple UK sites.

Role Description

• Providing expert regulatory support on ecotoxicological sections of regulatory dossiers
• Conducting ecotoxicology risk assessments for manufacturers of active substances
• Working closely and consulting with clients in the chemicals industry, both UK and EU based
• Aiding with the registration of biocidal and crop protection products
• Maintaining client relationships and working alongside industry experts to deliver projects in a timely manor

Requirements

• Extensive recent experience in ecotoxicology
• A strong understanding of ecotoxicology risk assessments (environmental, aquatic, soil, birds, etc…)
• An understanding of study design and data management
• Experience within a previous consultancy role or contract research organisation would be highly beneficial
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Full right to work in the UK.
