SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a contract CMM Programmer in North Massachusetts with hands-on experience using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines to join our growing team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect complex precision components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to develop and execute inspection plans.
  • Perform first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections.
  • Analyze and report measurement data, identifying trends and potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve non-conformances.
  • Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Document inspection results and maintain traceability in accordance with quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience operating Zeiss CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Calypso software is required.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection techniques.
  • Experience with other metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, height gauges, surface plates).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
  • Knowledge of SPC and data analysis tools.
